Baldur’s Gate 3 has a bunch of characters for you to meet and interact with, some of them influencing the plot, and some of them offering new side activities for you to do. Wherever you go in Baldur’s Gate 3 there will be a few new characters for you to meet and interact with. One of these characters is the Tiefling Dammon. This character is actually a key part of Karlach’s personal quest, and can help you complete that quest by providing him with Infernal Iron. He can however be a bit tricky to find in-game, so here’s our guide on where to find Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Where to find Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can find Dammon at multiple points during the game, as long as you complete certain parameters. At first you can find him hanging out in The Hollow section of the Emerald Grove, where he’ll be plying his trade. You can bring Karlach here in Act 1 to be able to start her companion quest. But be warned, if the Tieflings have left the Grove, Dammon will also have gone too, as I found out myself by playing.
According to some research, you can also accidentally kill Dammon if you let the Goblins invade the Emerald Grove, or don’t solve the Goblins before they depart for their next destination, as he’ll meet his end on the way to their next destination.
Finding Dammon after the Emerald Grove
Dammon is someone who you can also find after the Emerald Grove too, as you can find him in Act 2 and maybe even Act 3. In Act 2 you can find Dammon hanging around at the Last Light Inn, which is a location where you’ll find a few quests and NPCs.

In Act 3, while we haven’t gotten there ourselves, some research tells us that Dammon will be around in Act 3 at the Forge of the Nine in Baldur’s Gate.
What does Dammon do?
Dammon as mentioned can help with Karlach’s personal quest, as long as you bring him Infernal Iron that is. Dammon is also a trader, who can sell you various goods that have some decent benefits.
