It’s July 1, the start of a new month, and with it comes a new Wordle puzzle! We hope you’re ready to take on this next month of new word puzzles. Though Wordle doesn’t follow any particular theming aside from its 5-letter limit, we can be sure that it will give us a new set of interesting words to discover this month.

Luckily, we get to start off July on a bit of an easier foot – this word is a food item! Small and brown, this tasty food item is commonly found accompanying Mexican-style food dishes. It’s usually served whole or mashed then refried, making it a delicious side to a carne asada. You will likely find them within a burrito, enchilada, or taco as well!
If you’re still wracking your brain, here’s another hint – it’s a type of bean. This bean is one of the two most popular choices in Mexican-style food, so that should help you narrow it down quite a bit.
For our last hint, the Wordle June 30 answer begins with a “P“ and ends with an “O“.

Pinto beans are incredibly versatile, making them a fantastic addition to a number of recipes. Great as filling ingredients or as a stand-alone side dish, these beans are a real culinary staple. Fun fact – in South America, pinto beans can be referred to as “poroto frutilla,” or “strawberry bean,” because they can sometimes be pink in color.
