Get ready for a complete nostalgia hit as Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is reportedly set to include various maps from the original 2009 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
The official Call of Duty socials have been teasing a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II announcement for the last few weeks, with a reveal trailer rumoured to be arriving at the beginning of June. Activision has also confirmed in a blog post that a new Warzone experience would be arriving alongside Modern Warfare II, both of which will be built from the ground up.
With fans eager to find out more details on both Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2, new leaks have revealed plenty of details surrounding the new map set to launch with the new Warzone experience.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Leak Reveals All Map Points of Interest
As reported by industry insider Tom Henderson, a magnitude of classic maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will return in the form of points of interest on the new Warzone 2 map. All of the named points of interest can be found below, which are rumoured to be sweeping from the top left of the map to the bottom right:
- Oasis
- Wartorn
- Quarry (Quarry)
- Oilfield
- Modern City (Highrise)
- Caves (Afgan)
- Dam
- Marshes
- Harbor
- Sira
- Observatory
- Mountain town (assumed Favela)
- Graveyard
- Oldtown
- Shipwreck
- Fishtown
- Fort
- Airport (Terminal)
Alongside plenty of new points of interest, it looks like Quarry, Highrise, Afgan, Favela, and Terminal will all be returning. Of course, it’s also highly likely that fans can expect these maps to return to the multiplayer mode when Modern Warfare II releases later this year.
