The Chinese developer Parcae’s Fate Studio has confirmed that the open-world action game Unending Dawn will also be released for PlayStation 5 in addition to iOS and Android. The release date has not been revealed. The company from Hangzhou, China, has showcased its debut work in a video lasting over seven minutes where, after an animated introduction of the world and its protagonist, it presents extensive gameplay.
“Soulslike” Open-World With Anime Aesthetics
Unending Dawn is described as an open-world action RPG with anime aesthetics, inspired by works such as Elden Ring, Genshin Impact, and Sekiro. Developed under the Unreal Engine 5, the development of Unending Dawn is supported by Tencent and currently does not have a release date.
From the deep darkness beyond reality, intangible beings emerge, and strange colors crawl across the sky, filling the land with malice and taboos. Civilizations built upon layers of history, beliefs woven from lies, everything that mortals pride themselves on, crumbled into ruins on the Day of “Unending Dawn”.
However, some traverse the Path of Cognition, unreachable for common folk, bearing the curse of color that will ultimately destroy them, holding onto the hope that sustains the world’s existence.
At the moment, there is no news that Unending Dawn will be released for PC. However, its creators have confirmed a small surprise with its new gameplay.
The Crossover Between Genshin Impact and Sekiro Is Heading to PS5
Unending Dawn is as if the popular gacha game from HoYoverse merged with the soulslike games from FromSoftware. Due to its fantastic elements, it bears a strong resemblance to Elden Ring, the celebrated Game of the Year from two years ago.
However, the combat mechanics have a closer resemblance to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. What is clear is that this open-world RPG will give us a tough challenge.
Parcae’s Fate Studio has confirmed that Unending Dawn will not be exclusive to mobile devices because the game will also be released on PS5.
We are unaware if it will opt for the F2P (free to play) model of Genshin Impact, although everything indicates that it will. Unending Dawn is in development by Parcae’s Fate Studio for both iOS and Android as well as PS5, although it still does not have a release window.
