The free-to-play Action-RPG Tower of Fantasy has announced its next major collaboration and it’s with Evangelion next year.
Tower of Fantasy Will Collab with Evangelion in 2024
In 2024, Tower of Fantasy is set to collaborate with the legendary anime Evangelion, bringing its beloved characters into the game. Meanwhile, this month marks the arrival of update 3.5, titled “Electrifying Winter Rhapsody,” packed with engaging content to immerse yourself in.
The upcoming collab is a big one with more details set to come. For now, we know that iconic figures Asuka Langley Soryu, Rei Ayanami, and Shinji Ikari, together with the formidable Evangelion Test Type-01, will join the fray. According to the Japanese ToF Twitter account, there will be more news coming on December 21st.
These characters will lend their aid in combatting dangers and embarking on new quests. The event will also introduce exclusive content, including stylish costumes, personalized vehicles, time-limited Simulacrum debuts, and captivating storylines to explore.

Winter Update
Ahead of the 2024 crossover, Tower of Fantasy is having the Winter’s Electrifying Rhapsody event which is out on December 21st. Tower of Fantasy’s main story will continue with “Domain 9: Extraterrestrial Visitor” which will have the people of Domain 9 using a short respite between threats to research the Darkform. You will also be joined by others outside of Domain 9 to help solve the Infinite Sundial enigmatic problem, which is affecting the Omnium Reactor.
An all new Dark Wretch: Forlorn Minister boss who was previously a very successful swordmans. Once defeated in a battle though he became something else, the Dark Wretch. His moves include being able to teleport. Another interesting detail is that part of his consciousness remains, meaning it could add further challenge to beating this boss.
In case you missed it, Tower of Fantasy launched in August on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. The open-world RPG invited players into an array of interesting environments set in a post-apocalyptic world. The game’s real-time combat uses an number of attacks, with a multitude of character’s weapons providing different moves. Instead of swapping between characters like in Genshin Impact, players swap between weapons but can adorn the character’s Simulacrum or their own customised character.
Tower of Fantasy is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Android and iOS.
