Tower of Fantasy is a new gacha MMORPG that’s been out in the eastern part of the world for some time now, but is finally getting a global release later this year. The game is currently in its closed beta testing phase, but if you’re looking to do a bit of research to try to get a headstart for your account when it officially launched, we’ve prepared a Tower of Fantasy weapon tier list to help you out.
All the info here is subject to change as more weapons and skins get added to the roster, and things may get rebalanced here and there. However, from what we’ve played in the closed beta test so far, these are some of the best weapons to try to reroll for in Tower of Fantasy.
Tower of Fantasy Weapon Tier List
- S-Tier: Meryl, Cobalt B
- A-Tier: King, Samir, Claudia, Cocoritter, Xi, Karasuma
- B-Tier: Zero, Hane, Huma, Shiro
- C-Tier: Bai Ling, Peppa, Shiro, Hilda, Manaka
The first thing we want to note here is that players will likely be able to clear PvE content in Tower of Fantasy with most, if not all of the available characters on the roster. SSR characters and weapons will enjoy increased base stats, but for the most part, you shouldn’t have trouble clearing story content with any combination of these weapons.
That being said, if you’re planning on rerolling your account at launch to try to give yourself the best possible headstart, you’ll definitely want to aim for Meryl or Cobalt B. Those two are far and away the best weapons you can get in Tower of Fantasy right now, and if you’re able to nab just one of them, that should give you a great start in the game.
Meryl excels at being a hard-hitter and being able to launch enemies in the air and following up with powerful aerial combos, while also zoning out enemies with her ice crystals to keep them at bay. Cobalt-B, on the other hand, can round out your loadout by giving you access to ranged attacks that also deal quite a bit of elemental damage.
The best case scenario would be to snag both of them while rerolling, but considering that the chances of that are pretty low, there are a few other weapons to consider as well.
Some of the A-Tier weapons and characters are also very strong additions to your roster, especially King, Claudia, and Samir. King, in particular, is a great main weapon choice as you can easily slice through groups of enemies with an awesome-looking scythe, and enjoy great recovery times.
Finally, the B-Tier weapons in Tower of Fantasy are definitely serviceable too, with Shiro having access to good AoE abilities with her chakras and Zero being able to conjure up shields to block enemies for a short period of time. If you end up missing out on the S and A-Tier characters and land with a whole bunch of B and C-Tier characters, however, you’ll definitely want to reroll and try again.
