Tokyo Revengers Season 2 New Trailer Released And Release Date Confirmed

Written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers is an action and science fiction Japanese manga started in 2017. Currently, the manga is running on its 28th volume. After the huge popularity of Tokyo Revengers manga, the makers finally decided to give the anime adaptation to the series. In June 2020, anime TV series was announced, and it got released in April 2021. Just three months after the first season came to an end, Tokyo Revengers season 2 was greenlit. And just recently, we finally received the official trailer for the second season.

For those who don’t know what Tokyo Revengers is about, it’s the story of a middle-aged boy, Hanagaki Takemichi. Twelve years ago, Hanagaki lived a happy life with lots of friends and a girlfriend. In the present time, he is a nobody, and due to his wasted life, he tries to suicide. But, suddenly, something tragic happens that changes the course of his life.

Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Release Date Confirmed

Just recently, the official Twitter account and website of Tokyo Revengers confirmed the release date of the second season. Christmas Showdown Arc will officially be out in January 2023. So if you haven’t seen the first season of the series, it’s the perfect time to binge-watch it. The trailer of the second season confirms the return of all the major characters of the show. Takemichi Hanagaki, Takashi Mitsuya, Chifuyu Matsuno, Keisuke Baji, Ken Ryuguji, and Manjiro Sano are some of the characters shown in the trailer. Here’s the new trailer you need to watch.

Alongside the trailer, a new key visual is also out. We can see all the characters, Takemichi Hanagaki, Manjiro Sano, and others, near the stairs. No information is out regarding the staff and voice actors. But it’s confirmed that Liden Films will animate Tokyo Revengers season 2. In Japan, Christmas Showdown Arc will get broadcast on MBS, TV Tokyo, AT-X, and other channels.
