Konami announced that news about the future of the otome game series Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side series will appear on Christmas Day. A Christmas 2023 Newsflash video broadcast will premiere on the Konami official YouTube channel on December 25 at 8pm JST.

Additionally, host of the newsflash broadcast Icchou Mori teased on social media that he “feels like Santa,” implying that there could be a new game announcement. The official Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side series social media account reposted Mori’s comment.

The announcement appeared on the X (previously Twitter) official account for the Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side series.  As a reminder, ahead of the celebration on May 27, 2024 of the 30th anniversary of the main Tokimeki Memorial dating sim series, Konami opened an official Twitter account for the main series back in May 2023.

The latest entry in the Girl’s Side otome game spin-off series is Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 4th Heart, released for the Nintendo Switch exclusively in Japan on October 28, 2021. On Valentine’s Day 2023, Konami revealed that the game had sold over 150,000 units in Japan. Meanwhile, Tokimeki Memorial 4 is the last titled from the main series to appear, and it was released in Japan for the PSP on 2009. To this day, the Tokimeki Memorial series remains exclusive to Japan.

The Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side Series Newsflash 2023 Christmas will broadcast on the Konami official YouTube channel on December 25, 2023 at 8pm JST.
