Wondering if you can play LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in multiplayer online with friends? Here’s what you need to know.
Co-operative play has always been a big part of TT Games’ LEGO titles. However, that’s only come in the form of local split-screen co-op. In the year 2022, has the latest LEGO game shaken things up to finally allow us to play online with friends? Sadly, the answer is no. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does not include any online multiplayer features.
In our opinion, it’s a great shame. We love playing LEGO games with our friends, but split screen is often limiting, allowing us to only see half of the field of view we normally would. If we could team up with a friend online, it will alleviate that issue while also giving us the joy of playing with someone else.

Sadly, it’s jut not possible. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is either a game you play by yourself, or with someone else in the same room. Not all is lost, though. There’s still the opportunity to play with a friend or family member if they’re close by; it’s as easy as grabbing a second controller and pushing a button to join the game. They can drop in and out any time they like, too.
But for those of you who like to play multiplayer games online with friends, The Skywalker Saga just isn’t going to be one of them. Sorry.
