The new season of The Rising of the Shield Hero premiered last month, and so far, we’ve received four episodes. However, some fans are desperately waiting for the second season to get an English dub. Well, Crunchyroll recently confirmed the official release date for the Season 2 English dub of the popular anime series.

The Rising of the Shield Hero is one of the most popular ongoing anime series of 2022. The new season follows the Naofumi’s struggle to defeat the Spirit Tortoise. Besides the returning characters, we’ve seen several new characters making their way in Season 2. Of course, the animation has improved in the latest season, but what fans are enjoying the most in the second season is the story.

That said, there are some fans who prefer watching the dubbed version of anime shows. Well, that part of the community can finally add The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 to their diary as the English Dub of the latest season is only a few days away.

Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 English Dub to Start in May

Crunchyroll recently confirmed that the English dub of Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 would start on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022. The show will get English dub episodes every Wednesday at 5:00 pm ET / 2:00 pm PT on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

So, moving forwards, a new English dub episode of The Rising of the Shield Hero will arrive on the same day as a new subbed episode.

Besides the release date, the announcement comes with the complete English cast that’ll work on the project.; here you go:
