The Glory season two has just arrived on Netflix and one particular episode has left viewers squirming. The 12th instalment was an important moment for Lee Sa-ra (played by Kim Hieora) as the infamous church scene saw her lose her credibility. While under the influence of drugs, she started hallucinating and saw a snake coming towards her.
In the eerie episode, a snake started approaching Sa-ra from the Garden of Eden mural.
She thought it was a representation of Son Myeong-o (Kim Gun-woo), her drug dealer.
Viewers expected the snake to be a clever CGI trick, but actress Hieora explained it was real.
She said: “I was lying on my back when the staff said, ‘The snake’s here.’

“They showed it to me and said, ‘Say hello. This is the co-star you’ll be acting with.’
“It was a giant snake in a box… I was told the snake has been on multiple shows, so it’s a sunbae-nim snake,” she continued to SK Pop.
Thankfully she got on well with the snake, which made acting alongside it much easier.
She added: “I tried touching it, and it leaned on me, showing me some aegyo [meaning cute].
“After communicating with it for a bit, it became much easier for me to hiss.”
In the infamous church scene, Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo) set up drugs for Sa-ra, who had been deprived of them for weeks.
As she started hallucinating, she believed the snake to be Son Myeong-o, who had a snake tattoo on his thigh.
In a strange turn of events, she then started masturbating in front of other people.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the scene, with ItsPhael saying: “Oh, ya got me f****d up with that damn snake.”
NopeNotToday added: “I love how this particular scene throws shade to the garden of Eden story.
“Drugs represent forbidden apple and Myeong-oh is like Satan (snake) who always lured Sara into taking more drugs and now she will be thrown out of her garden of Eden.#TheGlory2”
