If you’ve been looking forward to wiping out hordes of Deadites with your friends in Evil Dead: The Game, you might be wondering if it has crossplay.
An asymmetrical horror game that pits four survivors against a demonic mastermind, Evil Dead: The Game wonderfully captures the atmosphere of the iconic series. You get to explore the cabin from the original film, take control of Ash, complete with his broomstick and chainsaw, and even play as a demon yourself, possessing others and causing mayhem. But: can you play Evil Dead: The Game with players on other systems via crossplay?
While it does feature some single player missions, this is a multiplayer game at heart. Needless to say, playing with random strangers is fun, but playing with friends is even better. Thankfully, the good news is that the Evil Dead: The Game does indeed have crossplay. No matter what format your friends have picked the game up on, you can play together.

That’s right. full crossplay means that you can team up with friends and other players on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S or PC. It should be enabled by default, too, but you can go into the game’s settings menu to make sure that crossplay is turned on.
Crossplay in Evil Dead: The Game is seamless when enabled; just go to start a match and you should be put together with others who have crossplay enabled. And even if you don’t want to play with friends, crossplay is beneficial as it means you have a higher chance of finding people to play with.
