Married at First Sight Australia may still be playing out in the UK on E4 almost every night but the show has been wrapped up in its native country. Among those who have left the world of the reality show behind are nurse Tayla Winter and tech account executive Hugo Armstrong who didn’t exactly see eye to eye for the most part. Here’s everything Express.co.uk knows about Tayla and Hugo now.
As soon as Tayla and Hugo first met at their wedding, there was tension as the former admitted she didn’t find him attractive.
On their honeymoon, she explained to her new husband that he wasn’t the type of man she usually goes for.
“It was probably someone the opposite of you. When I first saw you I thought… I don’t think he’s very sporty”, she said.
“I actually requested someone who didn’t talk much… a man’s man.
“That’s definitely my type of guy. You’re probably not my type. There you go, you happy?”

Where are MAFSA stars Tayla Winter and Hugo Armstrong now?
Unsurprisingly, Tayla and Hugo didn’t even try to make a go of things on the outside world, once the experiment came to an end.
They both returned to their hometowns, Tayla in Tasmania and Hugo in New South Wales, more than 1,500km away from one another, after filming.
It is believed that they have also gone back to their old jobs with no talk of new career opportunities.
Neither of the MAFSA stars have let the grass grow regarding their love lives though.
Tayla was spotted at a club, dancing the night away with shirtless Love Island stars Callum Hole and Jordan Dowsett.
They were seen at a popular bar on the Gold Coast at the beginning of the year and sources said she looked like she was having the best time.
An observer told Daily Mail Australia: “She looked like she was having a blast and didn’t seem to have a care in the world.
“Tayla was dancing up a storm with Callum and appeared to be enjoying every minute of it.”
