Horror thriller Swarm focuses on the dynamic between celebrities and their obsessed fanbase, like Beyoncé’s Bey Hive, Taylor Swift’s Swifties and Justin Beiber’s Beliebers. The Amazon Prime Video series will follow the story of Dre (played by Dominique Fishback), who becomes dangerously fixated on her favourite pop star. Who is in the cast of Swarm?
Dre – Dominique Fishback
Dre grew up as a huge fan of her pop idol Ni’jah, along with her sister Marissa who was equally enthralled by her music.
When Marissa is no longer as interested in the artist, the fandom isolates Dre who remains committed to Ni’jah and starts to meet other possible fans who recognise her to be “part of the swarm”.
She then embarks on a whirlwind and violent road trip with people who she classes as friends in the hope of meeting her icon.
Actress Dominique Fishback is best known for playing Billie Rowan in Show Me a Hero and Darlene on The Deuce.
She was also nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her part as Deborah Johnson in Judas and the Black Messiah.

Marissa – Chloe Bailey
Marissa is Dre’s sister, who she had a very close relationship with growing up, thanks to their shared love of music.
While she starts to get on with her own life, Marissa remains worried about her sister’s welfare as it’s clear she is on the verge of a breakdown.
Chloe Bailey is best known as a singer-songwriter and half of the musical duo Chloe x Halle with her sister Halle Bailey, who is starring in the upcoming live-action remake of Little Mermaid.
Together, they have earned five Grammy Award nominations since 2018.
Khalid – Damson Idris
Part of the reason Marissa has drifted away from Dre is her new boyfriend Khalid.
He is played by British-Nigerian actor Damson Idris, who is best known for starring as Franklin Saint in the FX drama Snowfall for the past six years.
In addition, he was the co-lead in the Netflix sci-fi action movie Outside the Wire as Harp two years ago.
His other parts have been in Black Mirror, Farming, The Twilight Zone and Astral.
Rickey Thompson
There are a number of familiar faces who will also be starring in the series but whose roles have not yet been revealed.
One of which is actor and comedian Rickey Thompson who has been in Foursome, Good Mourning and Sleep Tight.
Paris Jackson
Actress, model and daughter of deceased singer Michael Jackson, Paris Jackson, portrays a character called Hailey.
Bar Swarm, she has been in American Horror Stories, Sex Appeal, Star and Habit.
Byron Bowers
Taking on the role of George Clemons is Byron Bowers, who has starred in Loiter Squad, No Sudden Move and Honey Boy.
Rory Culkin
Actor Rory Culkin stars in Scream 4, Signs, Mean Creek and Outliers, just to name a few.
He is one of the brothers of Succession actor Keiran Culkin and Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin.
Kiersey Clemons
Actress Kiersey Clemons has been in Sweetheart, Dope and starred as Darling in the live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp in 2019.
It is also rumoured that singer Billie Eilish could also make a cameo.
