Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt has gotten a small update that fixes some major issues. This blood-drenched battle royale game has seen a lot of unhappy players recently due to an issue known as the ‘hitreg’ bug where shots didn’t register immediately after reloading. The community is thrilled to hear that this bug is of the big problems fixed in this update.

PS5 owners have got good news too, as some of the Founder’s Edition items were disappearing from inventories, even after they had been bought, but this is now fixed. The PS5 version has two graphical fidelity settings, to help players customize their experience. Quality mode runs in 4K at 30hz, while Performance mode runs at 1400p at 60hz. Previously the default setting was Quality mode, but after complaints from players, it has been changed to Performance mode.

Bloodhunt patch notes

This patch has rolled out on all versions of the game, including the PS5 and PC via Steam. Here are the full patch notes from the Bloodhunt Twitter thread:

Along with the fixes, a couple of known bugs were listed too. The first is an issue where you would get an empty magazine if you interrupted a reloaded; the solution, for now, is to simply reload again. An issue where unlocked items would disappear from inventories is listed, and the solution is to simply restart your game.
