Snag This 7-Game Star Wars Collection On Nintendo Switch For Only $40

Ahead of Star Wars Day, you can save big on Star Wars: Heritage Pack, a Nintendo Switch-exclusive compilation of some of the best classic Star Wars games you can play today. The physical edition of Star Wars: Heritage Pack released late last year and hasn’t received a meaningful discount prior to this week. Both Amazon and GameStop are selling Star Wars: Heritage Pack for only $40. Amazon is price-matching GameStop’s deal, which is only one of many early Star Wars Day deals you can shop at GameStop.

The physical edition of Star Wars: Heritage Pack typically sells for $60. Oddly enough, the digital version of the Star Wars: Heritage Pack still goes for $80 on the Switch eShop. In comparison, the physical edition was already a bargain at full price, but now you’re getting a 50% discount over the digital edition.

You may need to move fast if you want to snag it at this low price, as Amazon is currently listing the game as “Temporarily Out of Stock.” That’s often an indicator that a product will officially sell out soon–but for now, you can still add it to your cart and cash in on the discount. Orders of the collection at GameStop will ship immediately. That said, you’ll have to pay a shipping fee unless your total order eclipses $79.

Star Wars: Heritage collection pulls together seven classic Star Wars games:

  • Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
  • Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
  • Star Wars Episode I Racer
  • Star Wars Republic Commando
  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
  • Knights of the Old Republic (Downloadable)
  • Knights of the Old Republic 2 (Downloadable)

While the first five games are playable directly off the Switch cartridge, both Knights of the Old Republic are digital versions that need to be downloaded from the eShop–so make sure you have a good internet connection and a bit of space on your microSD card. Combined, the two KOTOR games clock in just shy of 30GB. If you need to expand your storage, microSD cards are pretty cheap these days. You can get a 256GB SanDisk Ultra for only $20 (as $26). For a larger capacity option, check out this Lexar 1TB card for only $67.49 (list price is $130).

Looking for something more recent? Then take a look at GameStop’s price cut on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, as the retailer has the hit game listed for $30 (down from $70) on both Xbox Series X and PS5. Our 8/10 Star Wars Jedi: Survivor review said the adventure “improves upon its predecessor’s gameplay and storytelling to deliver an engrossing story of a Jedi grappling with morality.”
