Just minutes into Thursday’s Britain Got Talent, fans took to social media to comment on Simon Cowell’s appearance.
The music mogul took his seat dressed in red-tinted glasses, and it didn’t go unnoticed by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
Simon even addressed his choice of outfit, telling the hosts it was in aid of all the Golden Buzzer acts.
“Are you feeling confident?” Ant asked Simon about his Golden Buzzer act performing.
“Why do you think I have got these on?” Simon replied as he took off his glasses. “These are my Golden Buzzer glasses.”

Ant joked: “You look like Tony Stark in those glasses.”
“I thought tonight’s show was in 3D,” Dec chipped in as Ant added: “You look cool, Simon.”
However, fans took to Twitter in droves to question why Simon was wearing tinted glasses inside.

A fresh batch of semi-finalists took to the stage on Thursday night in a bid to make the final.
However, viewers were left fuming after 2022 runner-up Tom Ball was exposed as Noodle the CGI Cat.
Tom came third last year, and many fans felt it would be a “fix” if the singer made it through to the final.
Britain’s Got Talent returns on Friday at 8pm on ITV.
