Rolf Harris’ death was registered by former personal assistant days after death | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Disgraced TV Presenter Rolf Harris’ death was registered by a former personal assistant rather than a family member.

Rolf Harris’ death certificate shows that Lisa Radcliffe was responsible for formally reporting he had died.

The certificate lists his occupation as “Artist” and was issued 13 days after the once beloved entertainer had died.

Ratcliff worked for Harris for many years and even took to the stand to defend him in a 2017 trial in which he was accused of groping a woman at a television studio in 2004.

At the time Harris was already serving time in jail having been convicted of a string of indecent assaults in June 2014.

He was jailed for five years and nine months after being convicted of 12 assaults, which took place between 1968 and 1986.

Following his conviction, he was stripped of his many honours, including his CBE, OBE, MBE, and Membership of the Order of Australia.

On the stand at his 2017 trial Ratcliff told the court: “Rolf’s just a kind person, he would always want to give his time to people.”

Harris was formally cleared of that offence and three others, which he had denied.

In October, it was reported the convicted paedophile was “gravely sick” with neck cancer and was receiving around-the-clock care.
