Get ready to clean up Midgar.

The upcoming PowerWash Simulator Final Fantasy VII crossover DLC, which was announced last month, now has a release date. Players owning the game will freely acquire the DLC and hose down Tifa’s Seventh Have, Guard Scorpion boss, and other Final Fantasy 7 jobs.

Today, PowerWash Simulator publisher, Square Enix Games, shared a blog post announcing that people will be able to download the DLC on March 2, 2023. The blog also breaks down players’ jobs once the game arrives. The new pack, dubbed the Midgar Special Pack, has five categories that involve cleaning familiar Final Fantasy VII locations, vehicles, and enemies. According to the blog, players will be clearing mess made by Professor Hojo’s ‘specimens,’ Don Corneo’s lackeys, and Heidegger’s dangerous tech.

Here are the locations that desperately need an expert power washer’s help:

  • Cloud Strife’s bike, The Hardy Daytona, and Shinra Hauler, a little truck that blends vintage and modern design.
  • The Scorpion Sentinel, the deactivated first boss that’s fought in FF7
  • Tifa Lockheart’s bar in the Seventh Heaven
  • The Mako Energy Exhibit
  • Another FF7 boss called Airbuster

For FF7 fans who might be getting into PowerWash Simulator for the first time, the game is like a first-person shooter, but you wield pressure washers instead of guns. If you have washed a deck before, this is much the same, albeit on a larger scale with some fantastical locations.

Developer FuturLab also added that the Midgar Special Pack would be more than just about cleaning. Instead, it will follow the original PowerWash Simulator’s suit of uncovering a story in every element that players clean.

The Midgar Special Pack will be the second crossover content pack for PowerWash Simulator after developer FuturLab released the Tomb Raider cleaning job last month. Square Enix has yet to mention incorporating other crossover content in PowerWash Simulator, but introducing features like Just Cause, Front Mission, etc. could potentially happen.

Players can grab the PowerWash Simulator Final Fantasy VII crossover DLC on March 2 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
