Persona 3 Reload “Busty Yukari” mod removed from Gamebanana

Game modding website Gamebanana has removed a Persona 3 Reload mod from their site, claiming it violated their rules.

The new “Busty Yukari” mod was removed by Gamebanana, who said it broke their rule of sexualizing a character known to be a minor.

Their decision has drawn some backlash, as some pointed the site does carry mods that could break this rule, as mentioned in the community notes of their Twitter post. They also have a rule against closeups of genitalia, despite hosting such content on their site.

This is not the first time the site has made a decision to block a mod, as they did so with a mod featuring a character from Genshin Impact, though in that case was due to a DMCA from developer MiHoYo.

Alternatively, they also forced a creator to change their translations for Fire Emblem Engage, which they claimed was due to wanting to respect the vision of the game’s localization, rather than the original Japanese script as the mod had been attempting to do.

Considering their response to those against the mod’s ban, it appears Gamebanana will not be reversing their decision and therefore those wanting to download the mod will have to search for it elsewhere.

Persona 3 Reload is available now for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5, as well as Xbox Game Pass.
