Mangotronics has announced the official launch of Passage: A Job Interview Simulator, letting players experience what it might be like when a god that has been reincarnated into your cat has the ability to stop time during your interviews (a handy skill indeed). The indie game is a follow-up to a visual novel that was released in 2020, and the first two chapters are out now on the Google Play Store.

In Passage, players can expect to step into the shoes of a wide-eyed graduate fresh out of college and eager to step into the cutthroat world of corporate life. Jobhunting is never easy – and even more so when big business moguls seem to have questionable motives.

Passage initially started as a graduate thesis project, but has grown to be so much more,” says Matt, founder of Mangotronics Games, from the press release. “With this game, we hope to teach players real-life communication skills and spark conversations about the ever-changing job landscape.”

If you’re keen on giving this game a go, you can do so by downloading Passage: A Job Interview Simulator on the Google Play Store for Android devices. An iOS version is also currently in development, and when the full version is released in May this year, it will have five chapters with a 10-hour runtime. It will launch as a premium title with no ads or in-app purchases.

You can also visit the official Twitter page to stay updated on all the latest developments, or take a little sneak peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the game’s vibes.
