After a long hiatus, One Piece is now back into a consistent release schedule. Episode 1055 will arrive this weekend and will be titled “A Shadowy Figure Pulls the Strings! Onigashima in Flames.” Several fights are going on at the moment, Luffy vs. Kaido, Zoro vs. King, and Sanji vs. Queen, while Kid and Law will now likely stand against Big Mom. If they battle Big Mom, then the latest episode will most probably keep most of its focus on their fight.

What Happened Previously On One Piece?

The battle between Killer and Hawkins continued, and the latter repeatedly overpowered the former. Due to his Devil Fruit, Killer’s attack couldn’t affect Hawkins, and the damage was redirected to Kid. Hawkins further insisted Killer to inflict damage on him, but Killer knew it would only hurt Kid, so he refused. Some of Killer’s men also arrived to attack Hawkins, only to be stopped by the former. As a result, Hawkins started to hurt himself by banging his head on the wall. Kid, who was currently battling Big Mom started feeling severe pain in his head.

Hawkins told Killer to serve Kaido, and in response, Killer stated that Kid would become the pirate king; this angered Hawkins, who started to thump Killer badly. On the other hand, Kid, who is still in pain, is about to be attacked by Big Mom. However, Law teleported to the spot on time and attacked Big Mom. The scene shifted to Killer, asking Hawkins to take his life and leave Kid alive. Killer started attacking Hawkins and chopped his left arm. But, as Kid doesn’t have an arm already, the damage was dealt to Hawkins, and he lost his left arm.

Killer then took out the Straw Doll from Hawkin’s chopped hand and destroyed it completely, cutting his connection with Kid, and now, any attack done to Hawkins will not be redirected. Hawkins used his card trick to summon a monster as a last resort, but Killer managed to annihilate the monster easily. Finally, Killer attacked Hawkins using his Gin Sonic attack and defeated him.
