It’s another quietly reserved week for new releases on the Xbox store this week, but that’s by no means a bad thing. With the Black Friday sales already running with over 900 discounts, players are not in short supply of games to spend their pennies on. And if you’re in the market to upgrade from your Xbox One S or Xbox One X, there’s a deal running right now in North America where you can bag the Xbox Series S for just $249.
It’s not a total wash-out, mind you, as there are some notable releases this week, starting with Superliminal on Xbox Series X|S. It’s not strictly new, given that the original version was released back in 2020, but it’s worth a mention as the next-gen version brings 4K and 60FPS with its Xbox Series X|S release, as well as a couple of new game modes. If you already own the last-gen version of the game, you can download the Xbox Series X|S version for free via Smart Delivery.
This week is Thanksgiving week in the States, so what better way to burn off the turkey and ‘tatas than having a boogie with the family? Just Dance 2023 Edition launches on Tuesday and it’s a special release as it will be the first in almost a decade to skip out on the Xbox One and PS4. It’s also worth noting that Just Dance 2023 Edition will be the final release in the series, though fans need not worry; instead of annual releases, Ubisoft will release content updates going forward, using Just Dance 2023 as its base. The game is also launching alongside the new Just Dance+ subscription service that will offer players new content including old favorites from past games as well as new songs.
