Ubisoft Plus, Ubisoft’s premium gaming subscription could be coming to Xbox Game Pass as per the latest rumor by the official account of Ubisoft itself.
Xbox has been actively working on improving its Game Pass subscription, which it has actively pushed in the past few years. With Sony also offering its Game Pass equivalent via PlayStation Plus now, Xbox would be looking for more ways to attract more subscribers to its service.
As noted on a post in the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit, Ubisoft+ could be making its way to Xbox Game Pass if a new rumor is to be believed. This rumor comes from the official Ubisoft Netherlands account. When a person asked when Ubisoft+ will make its way to Xbox Game Pass, the account replies that it should happen soon. This has sparked a fresh set of speculations that Ubisof+ could be coming to Xbox Game Pass.
If Ubisoft+ actually comes to Xbox Game Pass it shouldn’t be that big of a surprise for a variety of reasons. Firstly, EA Play is already bundled with Xbox Game Pass, so it should not be surprising to see another developer following suit with Xbox. Notably, we have been seeing that a lot of Ubisoft games are making their way into the Xbox Game Pass lately.
That being said, it could also be something that is purely some sort of misunderstanding, as it is very much possible that they didn’t understand the point of the comment. Some users have suggested that they might have taken the game pass comment as a question about Ubisoft+’s release on Xbox. If you think about it, that’s not quite far-fetched and could be very much a possibility. Well, we should learn more in the days to come.
