As you’re searching through ruins and tunnels all throughout Sumeru in Genshin Impact, you’ll start to notice there are a lot of stone slates lying around that you might not be familiar with. In particular, you’ll find a few Mysterious Stone Slates that have interesting uses.
In total, there are 6 Mysterious Stone Slates spread across Sumeru. These can be used to open locked areas in Gurabad’s Ruin in Safhe Shatranj. Access to these rooms will provide you with the opportunity to open a few Exquisite Chests.
Mysterious Stone Slate 1 Location
You’ll find the first Mysterious Stone Slate on the eastern side of The Sands of Three Canals. Take the Teleport Waypoint in the Desert of Hadramaveth, just south of the labeled location on the map above.
Make your way north, and jump off the cliff to reach the small area of ruins below. Inside here, there will be a wall that you can get rid of if you have the Large Atmospheric Vorticles upgrade to your Jinni. Inside, there will be a Precious Chest with the Mysterious Stone Slate.
Mysterious Stone Slate 2 Location
The second Mysterious Stone Slate will also be in The Sands of Three Canals, west of the previous one. Use the Bayt Al-Sukr Teleport Waypoint, and then head east to the location on the map.
Use the Three-Leaf Sigils to move forward, and then drop below into the ruins. There will be an Exquisite Chest in here with the second Mysterious Stone Slate inside.
Mysterious Stone Slate 3 Location
The third Mysterious Stone Slate can be found east of the Fane of Panjvahe Domain. Arrive at the Domain, and then head to the marked location on the path.
Drop down through the opening in the ruins, and use Elemental Sight to spot the hidden wall against the back. Enter through here using Jinni, and open the chest to get the third Mysterious Stone Slate.
Mysterious Stone Slate 4 Location
The fourth Mysterious Stone Slate can be found in between The Sands of Three Canals and Qusayr Al-Inkhida. Use the Desert of Hadramaveth Teleport Waypoint you used for the first Mysterious Stone Slate, and then head east to the labeled location.
Make your way into the ruins, and use your Elemental Sight to reveal the invisible wall. Walk through here, and there will be a chest with the fourth Mysterious Stone Slate.
Mysterious Stone Slate 5 Location
Next up, we have the fifth Mysterious Stone Slate located near the Tanit Camps. Use the Statue of The Seven below the Tanit Camps, and then head north to the marked location.
Like the previous areas, you’ll want to go below into the ruins. Use Elemental Sight to reveal the invisible wall, and make your way through here to find the chest. Open it up to grab the fifth Mysterious Stone Slate.
Mysterious Stone Slate 6 Location
The last Mysterious Stone Slate will be located in the region of Passage of Ghouls. Take the northern Passage of Ghouls Teleport Waypoint, and then head west making sure to stay on the mountains on the upper level.
Once you reach the ruins, you’ll notice the hole in the ground you can enter through. Then, use Elemental Sight to spot the invisible wall on the right. Enter through here, and open the chest to get the sixth Mysterious Stone Slate.
