Hawks and Endeavor teaming up to fight AFO is definitely exhilarating for every MHA fan. In the chapter, we see Endeavor distracting AFO so Hawks can look for an opportunity to destroy AFO’s mask. However, AFO figures out Hawks’ strategy and blocks every attack, but Endeavor and Hawks stay on the offensive. Endeavor and Hawks’ attacks aren’t in sync, so AFO mocks them and states that they aren’t skilled enough to bring him down.
Endeavor starts losing his patience against AFO, and Hawks asks him to calm down because that aggression could destroy their plan. However, AFO knows how to trigger someone like Endeavor, so he asks the hero if he found Toya’s body after the accident in Sekoto Peak. Well, this becomes the breaking point for Endeavor as he recklessly charges toward AFO. Hawks try to stop Endeavor, but it’s too late, and AFO pierces through the hero’s torso with his arm.
For a while, it feels like the end for Hawks and Endeavor, but fortunately, Jiro and Tokoyami decide to help the heroes. AFO states that Jiro and Tokoyami are like supporting characters of a comic book who always die first.
