MW3 season 3 Reloaded release time in EDT, PDT, BST, and CEST

Season 3 Reloaded — the mid-season patch for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone — is just around the corner.

Alongside the usual addition of a new weapon and store skins, expect two new maps and modes for Modern Warfare 3, a handful of tweaks and additions to Warzone’s Rebirth Island, and a new story mission in Zombies.

Here’s when Modern Warfare 3 season 3 Reloaded releases in your time zone, as well as an overview of what’s on the way.

MW3 season 3 Reloaded release time: When does the new MW3 update launch?

Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 season 3 Reloaded has a release date of Wednesday, May 1, at the same time in every region. Here’s is the season 3 Reloaded release in your time zone:

• 9 a.m PDT for the west coast of North America
• 12 p.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
• 5 p.m. BST for the U.K.
• 6 p.m. CEST for western Europe / Paris
• 2 a.m. JST on May 2 for Tokyo

Based on previous seasons, expect the update to roll out around 24 hours ahead of the above times on Tuesday.

What’s new in MW3 season 3 Reloaded multiplayer?

For Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, you can expect the following additions:

• The arrival of the BAL-27 assault rifle, available within the season 3 battle pass
• New skins and operators in the store, including Basketball player Devin Booker, and the (somewhat nightmarish) Wubs and Friends and Hare-raiser party packs
• New weekly challenges which reward JAK Aftermarket Parts
• Two seasonal events; Vortex: Vi.Rus Mainframe Event (debuting with season 3 Reloaded) and Call of Duty Endowment (running between May 8-22.)

Modern Warfare 3 changes and additions

• Two new modes: Minefield and Escort
• Two new maps, Grime and Checkpoint, for 6v6 playlists
• The Enhanced Vision Goggles field upgrade and EMO tactical equipment
• The Arcade playlist, with modes which center around Powerups and special weapon pickups
• The return of the Vortex playlist, which sees you return to the “infected environments of Airborne, Satan’s Quarry, Skidgrow, Sporeyard, and Tetanus”, according to publisher Activision

Warzone changes and additions

• A new Heavy Armor public event which increases the number of plates you can carry
• For Rebirth Island, a new Utility Box upgrade, the Foresight killstreak, the Weapon Trade Station, and the Specialist perk package

Zombies changes and additions

• A new story mission focused on saving Dr. Jansen
• Three new schematics (Dead Wire Detonators, Golden Mask Filter, Sergeant’s Beret)
• A new Warlord, Rainmaker
