Warner Bros. has announced release dates for a number of its highly anticipated upcoming films, including Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, Mortal Kombat 2, Weapons, and more.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which stars Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon) as the title character, is coming to theaters on June 26, 2026. Craig Gillespie (Dumb Money, Cruella) is directing and filming is due to begin this fall, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Mortal Kombat 2, meanwhile, is set to release in theaters on October 24, 2025. Simon McQuoid, who directed the first one, is coming back to make the sequel as well. The Lord of the Rings and The Boys star Karl Urban joins the cast as Johnny Cage.
It was also announced that Companion, a sci-fi thriller starring Jack Quaid, is coming set for release on January 10, 2025. And finally, Zach Cregger’s much-anticipated follow-up to Barbarian, Weapons, is lined up to debut in theaters on January 16, 2026. Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, and Alden Ehrenreich star.
While fans have to wait a while for these films, one of the next big movies from the studio, Joker: Folie a Deux, is set for release this October. Then in 2025, James Gunn’s eagerly awaited Superman arrives.
