If you want to level up all Vocations without having to play as each one, you can do that! This is a PSA to let Dragon’s Dogma 2 players know that leveling up the Warfarer Vocations levels up all other Vocations at the same time.
Leveling up Warfarer Vocation levels up other learned Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2
For anyone interested in gaining Augments from all other Vocations without having to play as each Vocation, you’re in luck. As a PSA, leveling up the Warfarer Vocation also levels up all learned Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This wasn’t advertised well, so most players have no idea about this feature.
The Warfarer is one of the many Advanced Vocations you can acquire, and since this one is sort of like a jack-of-all-trades class it’s not surprising to see how it affects other Vocations. As you level up in the Warfarer Vocation you’ll also notice that any other Vocations you’ve unlocked will increase in level too.
Players like this one on the DD2 subreddit have just recently discovered this feature, and it should be a lot more talked about. Since you can acquire Augments from all classes you may think you have to go through every single Vocation and level them up on their own.
This is the slowest method since you can just be the Warfarer Vocation for a few hours, fight a ton of monsters, and level it up while increasing all other Vocation levels as well. As a Warfarer, you can choose a variety of weapons to wield instead of being locked to just one.
How to unlock the Warfarer Vocation
If you’re interested in picking up this Vocation to easily upgrade all other Vocations, you’ll need to head to Agamen Volcanic Island and reach the camp. It’s southeast of Bakbattahl, and once you arrive there find Lamond on your way to the Hot Springs. He’ll be sitting on the ground and if you chat with him he’ll ask for some newt liqueur.
You can acquire newt liqueur for 5,000 gold from Higg’s Tavern Stand in Bakbattahl or from Earland east of the Bakbattahl Oxcart Station for 2,000 gold. One won’t be enough, so purchase three and make your way back to Lamond to give them to him. That’s all you need to do to earn the Warfarer Vocation.
Now you can slowly upgrade this Vocation to also level up all other learned Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Just make sure you first know how to change your Arisen’s Vocation.
