Let’s Build a Zoo’s Dinosaur Island DLC will let you dazzle your visitors with cloned prehistoric beasties, but that’s only part of the reason we’re looking forward to it.
That’s not to say there won’t be fun to be had introducing cloned dinosaurs to your PC zoo-sim’s park and we’re sure some people will get a kick out of that alone. The DLC, which arrives later this month, promises 50 new creatures, a new campaign a new research tree and much more.
The creatures will, according to publisher No More Robots, ..”make your heart saur with how cute yet terrifying they can be.” We loved dino-park sim Jurassic World Evolution 2 and Let’s Build a Zoo is an an absolute joy to play and, despite way too many Jurassic Park movies, dinosaurs are still cool.

But what we we’re really looking forward to about Dinosaur Island is the prospect of creating an evil dinosaur zoo. Let’s Build a Zoo lets you play “properly”, but you can also engage in some utterly shameless behaviour; painting animals, picking up beasts on the black market and that sort of thing.
So, yes, Dinosaur Island could be fun if you play it ethically, but we’re absolutely dying to see what sort of shenanigans you can get up to. Robot dinosaurs, maybe? Selling dinosaurs to the military? Saving some cash by feeding visitors to the T-Rex? That’s the kind of dino action we want.
We won’t have long to wait to create our Evil Jurassic Park, either. Let’s Build a Zoo: Dinosaur Island arrive this May 23rd, available via Steam, priced at $9.99 / £7.19 / 8,19€.
