Kotobukiya showed off an unpainted prototype of its Transformers Bishoujo Megatron figure. The site also includes comments from the product planner, answering questions on creative choices for the Megatron statue. It will ship in 2023, though Kotobukiya doesn’t note exactly when to expect it.

Megatron has her hair in a bob, and she is wearing her jacket over her shoulders like a cape. She holds the Fusion Cannon in her right hand. According to the product planner, her design is meant to complement the Optimus Prime Bishoujo figure. She has white hair, and her clothing appears to be a mix of lilac gray, black, and red.

Kotobukiya initially showed off the Bishoujo Megatron figure in February 2022. At the time, Megatron was only concept art, while there was an unpainted prototype for the Optimus Prime figure. These two are the “first generation” of Transformers Bishoujo figures, implying there may be more to come in the future.

Aside from the Megatron figure, Kotobukiya shared quite a number of ongoing and future figures. These included unpainted prototypes similar to the Transformers Bishoujo Megatron figure, as well as concept art. Announcements included an unpainted prototype of a Subaru figure from Hololive. There was also concept art of figures for the Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 protagonists, as well as DC Comics’ Batgirl.

The Transformers Bishoujo Megatron figure will be available in 2023.
