Looking to unlock the City of the Deceased Domain in Genshin Impact? Use our walkthrough to guide you to it in the Desert of Hadramaveth.
As the Desert of Hadramaveth opens up to travelers, many will be looking to complete the newly-introduced Domains in Genshin Impact. One of these is the City of the Deceased, located in the eastern side of the desert.
In order to unlock this Domain to receive all of its rewards, you’ll have to find the right path to get inside. Our walkthrough will take you to the City of the Deceased in no time, so you can take down the enemies waiting for you inside.
How To Unlock The City Of The Deceased Domain
In order to find the entrance to the City of the Deceased, you will want to start by teleporting to the Teleport Waypoint shown above, just outside the Wenut Tunnels. If you haven’t unlocked this one yet, you can just start from the northern part of the Great Red Sand and make your way here; it won’t be hidden behind anything or in any tunnels, so it should be easy to spot.
Once you’re here, look behind you, and you’ll notice a path into a cave. Start heading down here, taking out any enemies you spot along the way. You’ll eventually come to an area with Four-Leaf Sigils in front of you, which you can use to get across the gap, or you can take the path down to the bottom on the left.
You’ll want to keep heading forward from here. Eventually, you come into an open area with 4 different exits. Take the one on the bottom floor on the right side of the room. Make your way through this path, until you spot the Domain on the right.
To open it up, you’ll have to light up four different torches in the area. They are circled in red in the above two images. Once they’ve been activated, head back to the front of the Domain and activate the cube-shaped device to open it up. You’ll receive a Common Chest for this, with a few goodies inside.
City Of The Deceased Domain Rewards
Once you complete the Domain for the City of the Deceased, you’ll receive a few different one-time rewards. This includes:
- 40x Primogems
- 1x Legacy of the Desert High-Born Artifact
- 3x Hero’s Wit
- 500x Adventure EXP
- 40000x Mora
- 5x Dendro Sigil
- 5x Mystic Enhancement Ore
- 2x Guide to Praxis
As you make your way through the Domain, there will be chests inside here that you’ll gather rewards from as well. Make sure to get everything your first time around, as you won’t be able to receive rewards from this Domain again.
