Final Fantasy XIV: How to start the FF16 Path Infernal event

To start the Path Infernal Event in FFXIV, you must reach level 50 and complete the main quest, “The Ultimate Weapon.”

Once you meet the prerequisites, you can officially start the Path Infernal Event by speaking to Neophyte Adventurer at X:8.8 and Y:9.8 in Ul’dah-Steps of Nald. Head to the official Final Fantasy 14 website to see what Neophyte Adventurer looks like.

After speaking to him, you will activate the “A Land of Fire” quest, the first step in the Path Infernal event. Throughout the event, you will get the chance to earn several rewards that celebrate Final Fantasy 16, such as Orchestrion Rolls, Torgle Mount, and more.

Fast way for new players to reach level 50 in Final Fantasy XIV

If you are a new player of Final Fantasy 14 and are worried about reaching level 50 in time to participate in the Path Infernal Event, there is no need to worry. Up to a certain level, new players will get a bonus in experience points by creating a character in a new or preferred world. At the time of writing, the level at which the experience points bonus stops is undetermined.

Square Enix’s official Path Infernal event blog clearly states that players “eager to participate may wish to consider purchasing optional items to increase their character level.” While I’m not a huge fan of microtransactions in video games, purchasing them here may be a wise choice if you are short on time and want to participate in the Path Infernal Event. I have attached the item shop to help you skip levels right here.
