Hoyoverse has recently revealed the details for the upcoming Genshin Impact event called Spices From the West. During this event, trainers can play a mini-game to help Nazafarin conduct her research by making seasonings.
Similar to the previous events, players can earn a bunch of free rewards, including Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Weapon Ascension Materials, and Mora. So without further delay, let’s jump straight into Genshin Impact Spices From the West event details.
Genshin Impact Spices From the West Event Schedule & Eligibility
The Spices From the West event will commence on May 14 and continue until June 7. Like the previous events, players must meet certain eligibility points before participating in this event:
- Reach Adventure Rank 20 or above to create seasonings
- Reach Adventure Rank 28 or above and complete the quest “Idle Teapot Talk” to cook the corresponding dishes and invite characters to taste-test
Those who haven’t reached the Adventure Rank 20 yet will receive the event mail at the beginning of the event.
How to Start the Event
An NPC from Sumera known as Nazafarin will visit Genshin Impact to research seasonings in this event. Meanwhile, she hopes to find someone who can help her conduct the research seasoning by making the recipes she gives, and that’s your primary task during the Spices From the West Event.
A new seasoning recipe will unlock every day for the first seven days of the event, and all the recipes will be made available before the event ends. When making the seasoning, the needle on the slider will move back and forth from edge to edge. Once the needle lands on the white bar, press the interaction button to add the corresponding ingredient to the pot.
It’s worth noting that you will get a total of three tries to create a seasoning. Hence, make sure to make the best of each chance with the right ingredients. Once the dish is ready, you can invite characters to taste the Fragrant Dishes in your Serenitea Pot to increase their Companionship EXP.
