Not very fond of exposition and very long cutscenes in Wuthering Waves, huh? Here is how to skip dialogue and cutscenes in Wuthering Waves.
Wuthering Waves: How to skip dialogue and cutscenes
Before you go ahead and skip every single cutscene and piece of dialogue in the game, you should probably know that not every single cutscene or dialogue is skippable. You see, the main cutscenes and dialogue that are often related to main missions or character introductions are not skippable at the moment. For those who just want to get straight to the objective and valuable rewards, this can get a bit annoying, especially since cutscenes and dialogue can get particularly long at times.
However, for minor dialogue instances, like specific in-game objectives in which you must only speak with a character – where your dialogue choices don’t matter much – you will be able to both skip the conversation entirely and also skip lines of dialogue. Just be on the lookout for the skip button or trigger in the top left corner of the screen. Some cutscenes can also be skipped: for example, whenever you unlock a Resonance Nexus, you can skip the animation entirely, although you will be prompted once to confirm your decision.
Currently, the folks over at Kuro Games are working on a more encompassing skip cutscenes/dialogue option for those players who are not fond of them, so definitely check out any incoming updates soon. Now, should you skip dialogue and cutscenes? Well, it is entirely up to you. If you are avid for lore, story, and character development, then perhaps skipping them will not be ideal, especially if you are new to these type of games that has a lot of terminology that can become confusing and overwhelming.
For the time being, be sure to read through the dialogue and experience the cutscenes that are not skippable to learn more information about the world and quests, since several of the latter will actually test your knowledge if you want to complete them. Time to take some notes!
