How to Sign Up for the Meet Your Maker Closed Playtest

Guides

If you’re itching to get your hands on the next game from the Dead By Daylight developers, be sure to sign up for its closed playtest.

On August 3, Dead By Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive announced Meet Your Maker, a post-apocalyptic shooter with a heavy emphasis on player-created content in the form of building your own outposts and raiding the outposts of others. With such an intriguing concept, many players want to know how you can sign up for the game’s first closed playtest. Below, you’ll find a straightforward walkthrough covering how to do just that.

How to Sign Up for the Meet Your Maker Closed Playtest

The absolute first step to put yourself in the running for Meet Your Maker’s playtest is head to the game’s official website and click the button that says “sign up for the playtest” next to the Steam logo. From there, you’ll be asked to log into your Behaviour Account or be prompted to create one.

Once you’re logged into your Behaviour Account, clicking the playtest button will take you to another page that requires you to click a red button that reads “Sign up to the closed playtest.” From there, you’ll be asked to answer questions pertaining to your personal gaming preferences and general information for the selection process.

There are several questions to work through, but it shouldn’t take more than five minutes or so to reach the end. Once you’re finished, you’ll agree to terms and conditions then the process will be complete. If you see the following screen, you’ll know you’re all signed up.

And that’s everything you need to know about signing up for Meet Your Maker’s closed playtest. Although Meet Your Maker is currently slated for release in 2023, the title’s first closed playtest begins on August 23, 2022 and will last several weeks.

More in-depth information about Meet Your Maker can be found in Twinfinite’s coverage of the announcement, and if you haven’t heard the latest on Behaviour Interactive’s work on Dead By Daylight, you can learn more about the upcoming Resident Evil Project W DLC.
