Do you ever receive a gear item in Diablo 4 that just isn’t working for you? Sometimes, the base stats are perfectly fine, whereas the other affixes aren’t working in your favor. Luckily, there is actually a way to fix that. It’s called rerolling, and you can do it quite easily. I’ll teach you how to reroll your item stats in Diablo 4 so you can get the perfect gear.

If you look at an item, it should have three to four affixes, or secondary stats, that affect your character usually during combat. Getting the perfect gear drops can be difficult in Diablo 4, seeing as it’s based off of an RNG system. You may receive a gear item with great base stats and a perfect Aspect, until you look at the affixes. The good thing to know is that there’s actually a way to fix this.

In most towns across Sanctuary, you’ll find an Occultist. These vendors are here to help you with imprinting Aspects, extracting them, and a few other things. One of the things that an Occultist can do for you is reroll your item stats. When speaking to an Occultist, click the right-most tab, and you should be able to enchant an item. You can do this multiple times, so if it doesn’t turn out alright, don’t worry.
Enchanting your item means that you can replace an unwanted affix with another. This is great for gear that’s just nearly perfect, but one small change could lead to a better build. There will be a price to pay, though. Usually, you’ll need to spend some crafting materials, like Veiled Crystals, as well as Gold. That is, until you want to reroll stats for Legendary items. It will require Fiend Roses, which is a pretty rare material.
