Traversing across Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has never been easier. With the introduction of building creations like vehicles, you can get anywhere you want much faster than in Breath of the Wild. If you’re not much of a builder, there’s one vehicle that’s super easy to build and needs only three components to create. There’s a way to make a Hover Bike in Tears of the Kingdom, and if you want to know how to make it, keep on reading.

Tears of the Kingdom: Hover Bike instructions

There are two different types of Hover Bikes you can create with simplicity in Tears of the Kingdom. The first version I’ll outline is easier to make, but harder to control. Both versions only need three components. You’ll need two Fans, and one Steering Stick. First, make sure that both Fans are facing downward. I would recommend attaching the Steering Stick to one Fan first, then attaching the last Fan to both after.

One thing to note is that this takes some practice to build. You’ll need to place the Steering Stick exactly in the middle of the Fan so it can fly balanced. Then, attach the other Fan in the same evenly way. If they’re not all centered, Link will tilt to one side while hovering.

Once you’ve created a good Hover Bike, test it out, and it should be able to fly up high. The reason I say this one is harder to control is because of the Fan placement. While you can steer it, it will launch upwards pretty fast, and can be difficult if you want it to hover less.

This second version is harder to make, but easier to control. I recommend you find something to lean the Fan on, so you can attach the Steering Stick to it while it’s on an angle. Then, attach the last fan on the same angle. You want the Fans blowing not directly south, but on an angle. This way, you’re not only going upwards, but forwards as well.

What’s good about these Hover Bikes is that if you have Autobuild, you can recreate them on a whim. I much prefer the second build, as it acts more like a bike than a hot air balloon. Now that you know how to make a Hover Bike in Tears of the Kingdom, try it for yourself!
