You’ve reached the point in your Island Token search journey where you’re now at Lagoon Island wondering where this island’s token is. Luckily for you, this island is one of the easiest in Lost Ark to obtain the token. Though, there is one catch you should be aware of before setting sail.
The Lagoon Island does not appear every day. This can make it a little difficult if you’re on a time crunch and want a specific reward. It’s a good thing there are plenty of island tokens, over 90, to be found throughout the game to help you reach your reward goal.
About Lagoon Island
Lagoon Island is located Southwest of South Vern or Northwest of the Wall of Procyon. For this island, it is recommended that you be at level 50 with an item level of 250 due to the difficulty of the island boss. This island will only appear at particular times throughout the week. It is not guaranteed to spawn as it is an adventure island. You will need to stay vigilant as you wait for the island to appear, so you don’t miss it.
You will want to periodically check the Procyon’s Compass to see when you can sail to this island. Under the mini-map in the left corner of your screen, click on the compass icon. Once your Procyon’s Compass is open, you will want to choose the Appearance Info selection for the Adventure Island over in the tab menu. There are also alarm timers you can use. You can set an alarm that occurs in-game to alert you when the event on Lagoon Island is active.
Keep in mind that you will not earn rewards if you quit halfway through prior to finishing the objectives in this area. Prior to traveling to this island, you will need to complete the Set Sail quest to unlock your sailing ability. This quest can be found through the East Luterra storyline. Considering this quest is pretty vital to completing the game itself, you may have already completed it and are ready to head out to this adventure island.
Lagoon Island Token
The only way to earn this island’s token is by participating in the co-op quest. Once the island spawns and players arrive, the co-op event will begin within 3 minutes. In the meantime, you are able to finish some small quests while you’re waiting. Once the quest is available right as you arrive would be from the Boatman NPC which will activate a quest line, and you will be paid with Pirate Coins as well as engravings.
Since this is such a small island, you won’t have to travel far to reach the boss fight. When you defeat the island boss Lar Kaya, it is not guaranteed that an island token will be dropped. The drop rate might be close to 10% as some players have defeated Lar Kaya 9 times without receiving the soul. This objective will take roughly 30 minutes to complete. With other players helping to defeat it, hopefully, it won’t be too difficult for you to complete this.
While that does seem like a lot of time to not get the reward you were hoping for, try not to get too discouraged as even if you don’t get the soul the first few times of defeating Lar Kaya, you will still get some pretty great rewards. Another reward that this boss could potentially drop is an epic purple Wealth Rune. This will give you a 30% specialty meter gain. This rune will be useful for certain classes. Keep in mind that no drops are guaranteed from the boss, and it is said that the loot can only be given once a day.
Island Token Rewards
This game never fails when it comes to giving you incentives to work towards. There are 19 Island Token rewards and over 90 island tokens. This means that while these tokens are sought after, they are pretty easy to come by. The rewards increase in increments of 5, so you may have to grind a little if you notice a high-priced reward you want.
