Fortnite is a battle royale based on capitalizing off items and finding the best ways to win matches, and Epic has recently added a new way to optimize gameplay in the form of the Flowberry Fizz. It’s finally here, but where can players find it?
How to use Flowberry Fizz in Fortnite
Flowberry Fizz is the new item within Fortnite, and it has come as a bit of a surprise for players during the first mini-update of 2024. The new health item will act as a group healing for you and your squad, as players gathered around the user will be able to benefit from this item.
So, it’s going to be an excellent item for late-game, and it strikes similar notes to how the Chug-Cannon operated during earlier seasons, but it won’t take up two slots in your inventory as the latter did.
Finding the item on the map will be relatively simple, as there’s no unique method to obtain it. Instead, players can find it throughout the game in loot drops such as chests, floor loot, and more. Other methods include looting it from other players once they’re eliminated or via the in-game Hot Spots at certain named locations.

For more specifics about the item, players can gain 100 shields alongside the effects of low gravity when using this item. The shield will also be divided among your teammates currently within the vicinity of the user, so be sure to stack up for this.
We always have that one friend who will more than likely pop this item by themselves rather than waiting for everyone else. So, be sure to call out to them if you notice they have it!
The lore behind this item, if you can even call it lore, is that just alongside the outskirts of Fencing Fields, it appears they’re farming these berries and turning them into Flowberry Fizz. It’s similar to a wine garden, but more catered to Fortnite’s audience, so it’s nice to see this callback.
We aren’t too sure if other items are going to be added during Chapter 5, Season 1, and with the season being around a month old at the time of writing, we can expect something substantial from Epic.
