Credits On The Floor

While you’re walking around, be sure to check the corners of rooms and out of the way locations. If you’re lucky, you’ll come across some credits just sitting around on the floor. If you see side rooms you haven’t been in, then give them a look as well. You can also find other items on the floor, like ammunition for your tools. So, pull out your flashlight and give every room a thorough search. You’ll want those credits the next time you have to go to the store.

Credits In Boxes

Dead Space has plenty of breakable boxes sitting around in rooms. Sometimes these contain credits, other times they may contain ammunition. Either way, you’ll want to stomp these boxes open whenever you see them. There’s no downside, and you’re almost always guaranteed some free stuff. If you spot a box that it out of reach, use kinesis to pull it to you. Drop it on the ground and give it a stomp.

Credits In Lockers

It’s pretty common to see lockers sitting around in Dead Space. Some are already open and might have credits sitting on a shelf. Others need to be opened up manually. Some lockers require security clearance to open. So, if you come across one you can’t open, make a note of where it’s located and come back for it later.

Don’t forget that there are also footlockers sitting around on the ground. Instead of stomping them, you need to open them. These can be a little tricky to spot, so be sure you’re looking down and checking corners when exploring rooms.

Credits On Bodies

When you defeat a necromorph, there’s a chance they might have a useful item on them. Go up to the body, stomp it, and usually an item will pop out. These won’t always be credits. Sometimes they will drop ammo or medical supplies as well.

Sell Items At The Store

If you’re at the store, then you’re primed to make a little extra cash. Every once in a while, you’ll probably pick up a high value item. These items specifically say to sell them at the store. They don’t have any other purpose, so don’t bother saving them or storing them. Just go ahead and sell that thing for some sweet, sweet credits. If you’re really hard up for credits, you can consider selling extra ammunition, medical supplies, or other items some might consider to be essential. Be careful doing that, as you don’t want to run out of ammo in the middle of a fight.
