If you want to know how to crouch on PC in Palworld, well you’ve come to the right place.

Palworld: How to crouch on PC

Crouching is something I didn’t know I could do. I learned crouching was a movement around the tenth hour of playtime. To crouch, simply hit the C key while not moving. If you move, you’ll slide. I know, this would have saved you tons of time in combat because you would be harder to hit.

This guide is about PC players, but you can play Palworld on PC with a controller as well. Every movement is translated for the controller. Crouching with a controller can be done if you press the B button, but just like the mouse and keyboard, make sure you’re not moving.

Benefits of crouching

As mentioned, you can be harder to hit but also slower. So when you’re fighting in this stance, it’s good to switch up when you can. Paring crouching with the dash-dive move may make you harder to hit. The first boss you face in Palworld throws the kitchen sink at you, crouching does help quite a bit, but again — use it sparingly because you can also quickly become a target.

You can also stalk your prey better while crouching since you make less sound. There may be Pals in the world that will run away at the sight of a human. By keeping low to the ground and out of sight, capturing a skittish Pal should be less stressful.

While you can change keybinding in Palworld, sometimes the game will have a hiccup and not allow you to do that. The good news, we have a guide that can be your north star.

Palworld is in early access now via Steam, Game Pass, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
