Wondering how you can complete the Destroy The Blue Medallions 2 Request in Resident Evil 4 Remake? Well, here’s a guide to help you out.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake has brought back Destroy the Blue Medallions quest, but they have a newfound purpose to them in the remake offering a more fleshed-out reward pool from the Merchant. Completing this challenge rewards you with Four Spinel for destroying Five Medallions.
Spinel is a new currency that you can use to buy from a special pool of items that the merchant sells. These include Treasure Maps, Yellow Herbs, and Weapon Attachments. The second Destroy the Blue Medallion Challenge is issued by the Merchant at the end of Chapter 3 and will take place over the course of two locations: The Quarry and The Fish Farm. Check your map while proceeding through to make sure you don’t miss any, but a heavy majority of them are in the Fish Farm.
The Quarry
There will be many towers made of wood that are on the cliffs. Keep an eye out for them, and once you see them, look up and to the right until you see the blue glimmer of a Medallion. Shoot it, and you are done with the Blue Medallions for the rest of this area because the rest are at the Fish Farm, so proceed until you get there, and just focus on progress for a while until you fall through some floor boards at The Fish Farm.
The Fish Farm
The last four Blue Medallions are in this area that you drop into. You can get three of them on your hunt for the fuel, and then the last one is down by the dock when you are done. There are a lot of enemies, including a Hammer enemy with a pig mask, like in chapter one. They will keep spawning as you progress through a level, so make you watch out for previously cleared areas having enemies again. There is an opportunity to stealth kill enemies frequently in this area, and the Pig mask enemy can be one shot stealth killed, which saves a lot of ammo. There are a lot of enemies in this area, so stealth is advisable to pick off a few.
- Second Medallion: Go up the ramp leading out of the water, and you will see a bridge and barrel on the left. From there, you should be able to see the Blue Medallion by aiming into the shack.
- Third Medallion: Weave around the water following the path and proceed until you start to hear some beeping. Defeat the enemies nearby and head to the central wooded area. You should see a red chest containing a Hexagonal piece. Crouch under the dock, and you should see a blue medallion and the chest dead ahead.
- Fourth Medallion: There is a ladder you can climb near the cabin containing the boat fuel. Defuse the trip wire and drop back into the water and head forward. Be mindful of the enemies in the area, but on the left, there will be a ramp leading up, and just past that, you will be able to see the Blue Medallion. After you get the Fuel and the last Medallion, head back to where you dropped in from.
- Fifth Medallion: After looping back around and arriving at the dock, hug the right wall until you can see under the dock, looking down and to the left. You should be able to see the last Medallion there. Shoot it and finish the challenge.
