Changing Field Of View In Vanguard

How to change the field of view for Call Of Duty Vanguard

Adjusting your FOV in Vanguard can be extremely useful in widening your peripheral vision inside the game. In fact, a high Field Of View is known to give players a competitive advantage for both Multiplayer and Warzone, as you are able to see more of the battlefield. Here is how you can change your FOV in Call Of Duty: Vanguard.

  • First, launch Call of Duty Vanguard through Battle.Net.
  • Navigate over to Settings.
  • Click on the Graphics tab.
  • Navigate to the Gameplay section.
  • Under Gameplay, navigate over to the Field of View option.
  • Change the FOV by adjusting the slider to your desired value.

You can change the FOV anywhere between 80 and 120, so you need to choose a value that is suitable for your play style. The best settings for Call Of Duty are largely dependent on your hardware. However, PC players usually prefer playing on the max FOV since it has a lot of advantages. On the other hand, when it comes to consoles, the scenario is a bit different.

Considering that it is not that easy to aim with a controller, a FOV of 120 might not be the best setting for you. Instead, we recommend keeping the FOV less than 110. Over that, you might notice some performance issues on last-gen consoles, or the fish-eye effect which is quite bothersome for many.
