If you ordered the digital deluxe edition of Dead Space, here is how you can use your new suits.
Dead Space Remake has finally arrived! With great reviews and happy fans, it’s safe to say that this game is a hit. The remake manages to bring a classic into the world of next-gen. It looks gorgeous and it plays great.
If you were a fan of the original, or maybe if you were just hyped for this release, you might have ordered the digital deluxe edition. If that’s the case, you’re probably looking to put on those new suits you were given. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait a little while to do so, but we’ll tell you everything you need to know.
Find A Store
You won’t have access to a store when you first boot up the game. You’ll be in the classic RIG for a few missions while you try to figure out what’s going on. After you fix the tram and use it, you should be taken to a platform where there will be a storefront waiting for you. Once you get up to the store, interact with it.
Go To Your Storage
Initially, you’re just going to see items you can buy. If you tab over, you’ll see items in your inventory that you can sell. Tab over one more time and you’ll be looking at storage. This is where all of your suits should be sitting. They’re just waiting to be used!
If you get tired of any of your new suits, just open the menu again, select the suit, and click unequip. This will take you back to your default suit. Please note that all suits offer cosmetic differences only. They do not have any stats or upgrades associated with them. Any upgrades you’ve unlocked will also apply to the deluxe suits.
Equip Infested Suit
This is a gnarly suit that brings to life an infested version of the classic suit. If you’re looking for something visceral, this is it.
Equip Lone Survivor Suit
Sporting some trophies of his enemies, the lone survivor suit truly inspires fear in the hearts of your enemies. Nobody wants to face off against a person wearing giant horns.
Equip Venture Suit
This s a more heavily armored look with a bit of color to it. The suit looks great and is very distinct from the others.
Equip Bloody Suit
This is basically your normal suit, but now it’s covered in blood. Fantastic!
Equip Sanctified Suit
This suit is covered in etchings that make it look really unique. It’s a cool twist on the classic outfit.
