Natty, or Natsai, as you like, is a great companion in your journeys throughout the world of Hogwarts Legacy and an invaluable friend who is willing to put the welfare of others above her own.
Natsai relocated to the world-famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from the ancient and mysterious Uagadou, the celebrated African wizarding school well-known for its wandless magic, which is located in the Mountains of The Moon. She is the daughter of your Divination Professor and is ready to take down every form of evil that threatens people and magical beasts.
Of Charms And Hippogriffs
You will meet Natty for the first time during your Charms Class with the eccentric Professor Rowen in a lesson that got the vibes of the one from the movies with Hermione and her Leviosa affair. She will also introduce you to the usage of your newly learned spell Accio in a minigame, where she will probably spice you under the table.
Later in the game, you will be able to head to Farlton Castle with Natty, where Theophilus Harlow, the right-hand man of Victor Rookwood, holds captive Highwing, the Hippogriff with whom you make acquaintance during the first meeting with Poppy Sweeting during the Beasts Class. After climbing the battlements of the castle and opening the main gate, you will head back to Hogwarts on an amusing flight and witness splendid panoramas, thanks to your new Hippogriff friend that will serve you, from that moment on, as a loyal and majestic mount.
Take Down The Bad Guys
The core element of your adventure with Natsai is to eradicate the evil crew of Harlow, which lurks among the roads and alleys of Hogsmeade and threatens people with blackmail and illegal actions. For Natty, it is like experiencing history again because in Uagadou, when she was just a child, she suffered the loss of her father due to people like Theophilus Harlow.
That’s the reason why she has with you a heart-touching dialogue regarding Thestrals, the magical beasts that you manage to see only after witnessing the death of someone. And she feels guilty about this event because her dad, who happens to be an Animagus, died to save her, turning himself into a beautiful animal to save her from a killing blow, using the art of self-transfiguration well-known in the school of Uagadou. To fulfill your mission of liberation jointly, you will first have to track down a lost child named Archie and eventually set him free from the cage where he was kept in prison.
Your investigation and prying will upset Harlow and his bad guys, and Natty will be captured, together with Isko Rabe, and brought to a hidden Ashwinder’s Hideous in a cellar near the Hog’s Head Inn. After rescuing Natsai, helping Hogsmeade’s civilians, and making aware the Officer Singer of the abovementioned events, you will be ready to face Harlow and eliminate the problem at its root.
In an epic confrontation in the courtyard of a majestic manor, you will defeat Harlow and his goons. However, before his surrender, he will cast the Cruciatus Curse on you, but Natty, as her father did before, will turn into a gazelle and take the magical bullet for you. In a touching dialogue-driven cutscene in the Hospital Wing of Hogwarts, you and Natty will learn a valuable lesson about self-sacrifice, freedom of choice, and love for others.
