Genshin Impact 2.7 Leak Reveals Update Delay Duration

According to a new post by Lumie, the Genshin Impact 2.7 Update has been delayed by three weeks. It should be noted that miHoYo had not given any official information about when the game’s update will arrive, and many thought that it has been delayed indefinitely. However, that seems to be far from the case. That being said, it is very much possible that the miHoYo didn’t announce an official date to fans to ensure that they have some flexibility in case things go wrong again.

The leaker also urges fans to be respectful in these times, as almost everyone is disappointed with the delay of the 2.7 Update. The update was bringing one of the most anticipated characters in the game, Yelan, and it is not surprising to see that so many players were waiting to pull for her. However, the exact reason for the delay has not been a problem from miHoYo’s end, but it is actually due to the problems arising due to the ongoing lockdown in Shanghai. We should be getting an official announcement pretty soon about the updated release date of the new update.
