Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Confirms Fix For Platinum Trophy Bug

0

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has finally received update 1.030, which fixes the serious bug that made it impossible to obtain the Platinum trophy due to an error in progression.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Can Now Obtain the Platinum Trophy

For a few days, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth players have had a hard time unlocking the Platinum trophy. A progression bug in a necessary mission made it impossible to obtain it.

Fortunately, Square Enix has already addressed this on PS5. The mission “Gamer’s Challenge” can now be completed after completing all tasks and playing all Gold Saucer minigames after reaching Chapter 12. In the previous patch released for the game, Square Enix introduced new graphics modes, and this one had a slightly higher weight, although not by much, 5.7GB compared to the previous 4.9GB.

At least, the implementation of this fix no longer prevents any user, regardless of the version they have, from completing the game 100%. Although, after the waiting time, you will see that several bugs and issues are now history within the game.

  • Fixed a bug in the subquest “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” in Chapter 12 where the quest would not progress even after meeting the G-Bike’s clear conditions.
