After completing the Before My Time Achievement in Genshin Impact, there’s more to be discovered about the abandoned hospital in the small village of Dar al-Shifa. The patients who used to reside here were suffering from Eleazar, a prominent illness in the Sumeru region.
Much of the information on this hospital has been left behind, but as you search deeper into the town, you’ll find hidden notes from previous patients. Not only will you uncover secrets, but you’ll be able to obtain the hidden achievement ‘Escape From The Hospital’.
Visit Dar Al-Shifa & Reach The Underground Cave
Just like with the previous achievement, Before My Time, you’ll want to arrive in the village of Dar al-Shifa. Use the Teleport Waypoint shown above, and then head southeast to reach the area. Arrive at the large house at the back of the town where you last uncovered notes on the patients of the hospital. Instead of going inside, look to your right, and you’ll find a large hole in the ground.
To get underground, destroy the rocks obstructing the entrance with a Claymore character. You can use other weapons as well, but Claymores will destroy the rocks the fastest. Once you jump down below, you’ll need to destroy more rocks in front of you to proceed forward.
Head into the next room and defeat the hilichurls to open the Precious Chest in the middle. You’ll then notice two different entrances. Take the one on the left side with more rocks obstructing the path. Break these, and go into the next room.
There will be another group of hilichurls in here you’ll need to defeat to open the chest. Then, break down the rocks on the right side to move to the next room. In here, you’ll be able to open another chest and grab a Dendroculus. Head back outside when you’ve gotten all of your rewards.
Make your way up the path on the left side this time, blocked by a hilichurl fence. Cut it down with your weapon, and proceed forward. Defeat any enemies in your way, and then you’ll need to destroy two sets of rock barriers to make it outside.
After a quick cutscene, approach the Severely Eroded Hoe on the right. You’ll finally receive the ‘Escape From The Hospital’ Achievement, also known as ‘One Flew Over the Sick Men’s Rest’.
Escape From The Hospital Rewards
After completing the Achievement, you’ll be able to receive your rewards from the Achievement Page. You can visit this section from your settings, and then click the first ‘Wonders of the World’. At the top, you’ll spot ‘One Flew Over the Sick Men’s Rest’, which will reward you with 5 Primogems. In order to get more Primogems out of this achievement, make sure you opened every chest inside the cave. If you missed any, we recommend going back in and taking a quick look around, as each chest will give you around 20 Primogems.
