Emmerdale viewers beg for ‘vile’ character to be ‘killed off’ as lies exposed | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Emmerdale viewers are calling for Amy Wyatt (played by Natalie Ann Jamieson) to be written out of the ITV soap following her actions.

Fans of the soap will recall her sister Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) disappeared in recent weeks after Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) broke up with her.

Chloe did not take the dumping well and soon fled the village with their baby son Reuben as part of a revenge plot against Mack.

Nobody knew where Chloe had run off to, but viewers have now discovered Amy knew where she was staying.

She found Chloe in a small flat located in Leeds and she told her to return to Emmerdale for Reuben’s sake.

But Chloe refused to return to Emmerdale as she did not want her ex Mack to win because she is still furious he has rekindled his romance with his ex-wife Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).

During the latest episode of Emmerdale, Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) and his partner Amy were talking to Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb).

However, Amy lied to Moira about where she was going, which left Matty both confused and hurt.

Amy later told Matty where Chloe was staying but explained she had kept it a secret as she feared he’d tell Mack.

Matty was left hurt by Amy’s lack of trust and there are bridges to build in their relationship if they are to make things work.

After Amy’s lie was exposed, viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to vent their fury.

Tina penned: “#Emmerdale Please God let Amy be the next victim of any village murderer!”

Kelly added: “Amy and Chloe are both as vile as each other! #Emmerdale.”

Owen remarked: “Amy’s constant screeching and Matty is almost enough for me to think even more about stopping watching this tosh.”

Mike shared: “I don’t usually side with Matty as he’s moaning all the time but on this occasion, I will be… Amy is a liar and a murderer.”

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
